Team Riders
Behold…the Cafe Kamloops shred cats!
Don’t forget to head over to the team blog to stay up-to-date with the shenanigans and goings-on with the Cafe team hooligans.
Graham Agassiz

Our protege has gone onto great things! An early and passionate team rider has gone onto be an amazing example of where passion and dreams can take you.
Luke Beers

Tall and talented, Luke is our Merritt correspondent. Far on the maps but close in our hearts.
Matt Brooks

A team rider from day one has continued to strive for new and exciting things. Now with his own production company (Lone Wolf Productions) Matt continues to ride and contribute to riding in Kamloops.
Karl Heldt

Definitely one of the best young and up and coming film makers in riding. Surprisingly Karl also has mad riding skills. Look out for Karl on the race circuit as he is a force to be reckoned with on each side of the camera.
Taylor Hollstedt

Taylor is the head mechanic at the Bicycle Cafe and also the most serious person we know. He doesn’t laugh very often and never has anything nice to say. His bike and his clothing aren’t colorful and don’t match at all. Basically just a boring guy.
Kris Johnstone

He has a gentle spirit and is one of the most dedicated team members we have ever had. Look out for him on course on the BC cup!
Ian Killick

This super quiet guy is always destroying everything in his path. From salads at Milestones to dumped 3′s on a step-up, Killick has the look that kills.
Jim Lucas

Jim is Loud. He talks loud, listens to his music really loud, and his riding sure makes a lot of noise to suit. You can catch Jim destroying skate parks all over the place and thumping down the road with the loudest subs in town. .
Matty Miles

Another really quiet guy who lets his riding do the talking. Matty is one of the smoothest riders we have ever met and he reeks of style. Also extremely talented with his camera, Matty is often responsible for stunning images and great media coverage of other team riders.
Jake O Laney

Nestled in the quiet hills of the British Columbia Interior is a small town called “Lillooet.” Nobody is really sure what is in the Lillooet river, but rumor has it that drinking the water for prolonged periods will have a significant effect on your personal character. Some effects include getting really good at BMX riding, losing all your hair, and being a really nice guy. Jake is a prime example of all three! .
Marcie Shatula

She is a like a delicate flower, pretty, gentle and sends it over the biggest jumps in the Loops!
Dylan Sherrard

Killing it on a trail, jump, dance floor or sales floor near you. Keepin’ it Real.
Our Nelson correspondent finds the Bicycle Cafe Kamloops to be his home away from home. He sends post cards and love to his Kamloops family.
Justin Terwiel

Inexhaustible energy and excitement fuels Justin. He has developed some amazing riders through his coaching business, while at the same time riding at a pro level. We find very inspiring!
